I believe how I start my day that is only affect the rest of the day. So I think this is very much important for happiness. So start some simple and small things in the morning to boost your happiness. But remember happiness is not the final destination.

I have found one great article on happiness by Acacia Parks, PhD. Assistant Professor of Psychology at Hiram College, where she teaches classes on the science of happiness at happify daily. According to her research “happiness is of combination of how satisfied you are with your life and how good you feel on a day-to-day basis”. If we give consistent effort then fluctuation of our mood with change of our life will be controllable.

1. Wake up early:
From tomorrow onward start with happy morning and try to wake up some time before than usually you do. It is difficult but not impossible. Start from 5 minutes earlier then gradually increase it up to 30 minutes earlier than usual. In a research it’s found that people whose performance peaks in the morning are better positioned for career success, because they’re more proactive than people who are at their best in the evening.

- Helps too enjoy the quiet time with more sunlight.
- Increase productivity.
- Create better mental health.
- You will get extra time in everyday.
2. Start with positive thinking:
Just after waking up repeat in your mind several time sentences like –“Today is a great day- there is lot of happiness wait for me and my family today”. This will give a positive energy to your body and mind. According to a new study on women having an optimistic outlook on life may help people live longer.

3. Leave aside all problems:
Don’t focus on problems. Start with enjoying the feelings of a wonderful day ahead, even if you can’t see how this can happen. Wisely choose your own thought irrespective of what is happening in your life. Believe me if you preserve, your life will change automatically. I don’t tell you to ignore the issue of daily life or professional life but focus on solution only.

Spend some time to work out. I think this is the best way to start your morning. It is good to take your breakfast within 30 minutes of waking up , ideally 7-8 am is the best timing and remember don’t have it after 10 am. When you start early and attempt to reach at workplace in time or may be few times before, obviously you can eliminate the other related stress like traffic jam, taking bus or train, irritation.
